Meet the Members Mondays- Allison C

Hey everyone! My name is Allison Cybulski and I am the president of the Student Spouses Club this year. Over the past two years, the spouses club has been such a blessing for me. It has provided me with amazing friends, a huge support system and a wealth of military information. Most of all, it has been one of the factors that has brought me to love living in Bethesda!

My husband is a third year medical student in the Air Force and loves medical school. We are high school sweethearts and moved from Pittsburgh after attending college at Penn State (Dan) and Duquesne (me). We’re both very thankful to be just a short four hour car trip away from home because we make the journey very often. 

While my husband is studying, I’m busy working on lesson plans and doing crafts. I teach first grade at Meadow Hall Elementary School and I really love it. First grade is an exciting year for learning and it is such a rewarding career to see all of their little light bulbs turn on! Outside of work, I love to workout, shop, visit with family and attend adult social events ;)
 
I look forward to meeting all of you at our meetings and social events over the next year. Good luck for a new school year, especially those MS1’s as they start their adventure at USUHS!
